*Update* I'm sad to report that the diaper below is now falling apart. The material used for the outside of the diaper cannot handle anything but cold water. This is not acceptable! To get diapers clean (especially really poopie diapers) they must pass through a hot water cycle. The end, no buts about it. This makes me sad because it seemed promising. Yue Wang, the seller should be required to add the washing instruction (and limitations) to the diaper listing.
It looks like reasonable priced pocket cloth diapers do exist after all!
Recently, I purchased a cloth diaper from a small shop on Amazon. I was skeptical considering the price tag ($8.99/diaper), but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and Ben liked it! I'm definitely going to buy more.
*The customer service was great. Initially, the wrong diaper was sent to me, but they quickly resolved the issue by sending me the one I wanted. (I wanted a "pocket" diaper and they accidentally sent me an "all-in-one" diaper.)
**I also found it helpful that they have a video on YouTube showing how to adjust the diaper from large to small.
It has been brought to my attention that there is another affordable cloth diaper out there selling for only $6.99/diaper at http://theluvyourbaby.com. When I can confirm this as a legitimate deal I will post it here.
